The Banks Power 66799 Banks Derringer Tuner (w/o iDash) will enhance the power and drivability of your 2020-2021 RAM 3.0L EcoDiesel. This module delivers more torque and power gains across the RPM range, starting from idle and marching to the shift point in each gear. The Derringer is dyno tuned to use multiple data inputs such as throttle position, vehicle speed, AFR, RPM, coolant temperature, and EGT, just like your engine's PCM. It continually and safely optimizes calibrations in real-time due to its OBD-II connectivity, unlike the competition. The Derringer has 6 levels that can be adjusted on-the-fly using the iDash for best-in-class performance. Level 3 is designed for work, such as a loaded truck and/or pulling a trailer to help your on-ramp merging speeds and passing times. The Derringer communicates with other Banks devices such as the iDash DataMonster, iDash SuperGauge, and PedalMonster throttle booster for even more features.This power module connects in line with your truck's engine sensors and connects to the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic bus. The ActiveSafety feature monitors the health of the circuitry and keeps an eye on the vehicle and the module itself. By checking the Derringer’s health 100 times a second, this module can instantly bypass itself if there is an issue. Once a problem is detected, the module sets a device diagnostic code and returns the truck back to stock power. Also, the Derringer's coolant temperature monitoring prevents power being added when the engine is too cold or overheated. Safe power is automatic with a Derringer; just choose your preferred power setting and enjoy the ride.
