The Hamilton Cams 07-C-002 Bolt-On Cam Retainer is specially made for your 1994-1998 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. For use with mechanically injected engines with helical cut cam gears. This bolt-on retainer will ensure that the cam gear is not pushed off of the cam in high rpm, high fuel delivery situations.

For P-Pumped Engines
Stops Cam Gear From Being Push Off In High RPM Situations
Application Note: Common rail engines or engines that use straight cut or spur gears do not need this bolt on retainer.
